Wine Club Miami met at the world renown Fogo de Chao in South Beach for its May 2019 event. The event was hosted in its private wine room and the wines of Clos du Val were presented and sourced by member Andrew S. Cohen. The predominantly cabernet-based wines were a great compliment to the food. Unlike most California big reds, these wines were not overly fruit-forward and jammy, and were more in an old-world style that the group appreciated.
